Hi I'm Miggs Acosta
I decided to create SuperMarketing after years of being a partner and operator of a supermarket in Spanish Harlem.
During my time there, I observed how my customers would groove in the aisles and inquire about the playlist whenever I curated the music.
Realizing that in-store radio networks have been around since the 1930s, it dawned on me that a similar concept could be applied to the local supermarket industry.
Our primary focus is to provide shoppers with an enhanced experience by programming music that caters to the demographic of the neighborhood.
Additionally, I saw an opportunity to collaborate with brands and promote their products, introducing a new source of revenue for supermarkets through our services.
Drawing from my experience as a recording artist and former promotions coordinator for La Mega, the top Latino radio station in the US, I embraced the saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
Combining my passion for music and my supermarket expertise, SuperMarketing was born!
